Prague
I’m in Prague, doing a bunch of performances at the Quadrennial theater design shindig. In the middle of the US exhibit, I’m performing three scenes from The Adventures of White-Man with video projection. It’s been a gas. Prague is ye olde charming and quaint and stuffed to the gills with creeps like me (tourists). Saw a Georg Grosz show yesterday….brilliant.

After a two year wait, my dummy…er, ventriloquist figure…finally arrived today! His name: Butch Manly the Third. Like, Junior Junior. He’s quite butch and very manly. Duh. I just told him I already love him. He could give a crap.

Bread and Puppet 2010
Mabel, my granddaughter, was in four acts of the circus. She beamed like a lighthouse and fell in with her fellow juvenile delinquents instantly. My wonderful nemisis and buddy Oive “Spanky” “Petunia” “etc” Brecht took Mabel under her wing and was sweet as heck with both of the JDs.

Still waiting on my vent dummy. It’s been over a year I’ve been waiting; I just heard from him in the middle of writiing this post, telling me that he thinks it will be done in the next two weeks.
So above you can see a dummy that’s exactly what the gentleman is supposed to deliver; it’s on eBay. I am wondering if I should bid on it…

Pittsburgh
Here at Carnegie Mellon researching the new Beakman Live show, Beakman on the Brain. Working with drama students to create material for the show. It’s going great, although I’m not sure how much material I’ll get out of it. At least I got my butt out of the house and focused on the show….
